Egypt is the largest producer of cucumbers in the world, producing about 15 thousand tons, and it represents 12% of the total global exports of cucumbers. It is mainly grown in the south of the country, and the climatic and soil conditions are favorable for multiple harvest seasons, which gives a distinct advantage of processing the product for 10 months every year.
